SHARING INSTRUCTIONS

The Exit Surveys, including the Lesson 6 final PATH Curriculum Assessment, were created in Google Forms. Here are a few options for “sharing” the surveys with your students:

Option A: Print a copy and provide photocopies for each student.

Option B: If you use Google Classroom…

1. Locate the three dots at the top/right, near the word SEND. Click and then choose, “Make a Copy”. This copy is now owned by the Instructor.

2. Click the settings icon, just left of the SEND button. Read and select General, Presentation, or Quiz options for your security and convenience.

3. Post the link on Google Classroom. Each student will “make a copy” and click submit upon completion. Instructors will have access to the results by clicking “Responses” at the top of the instructor copy of each survey/Google Form.

Option C: If you are new to using Google Drive…

1. Locate the three dots at the top/right, near the word SEND. Click and then choose, “Make a Copy”. This copy is now owned by the Instructor.

2. Click the settings icon, just left of the SEND button. Read and select General, Presentation, or Quiz options for your security and convenience.

3. Click SEND on your instructor copy.

4. A box will open. Read and check if you want to gather emails. If not, the results will remain anonymous.

5. Provide the group address. In other words, fill in the spot To: _____ Most instructors will have Google group names for their various sections or courses, (ie– “Class of 2024”). This group email option will share with an entire class. Other instructors may have a “section” name for an individual small group email.

6. If none of these Google “groups” have been created by the instructor or the district’s technology staff, the instructor will have to enter each individual student email in the email address To: _____ spot. Be sure to separate each email by placing a semicolon at the end of each student address. Most instructors will find that if they start typing a student name, after a few letters have been entered, the address will pop up as an option if Gmail is the school’s system of contacts.

7. Click SEND (bottom right corner of the Box that opened) after the email addresses are entered.

8. Students will open their Gmail to click on the survey and begin to answer questions.

9. Once a survey is submitted, instructors may click “Responses” at the top of their copy to view feedback.
